Over the course of my career in nonprofit work, I’ve had the privilege of using my writing superpowers to support dozens of organizations in various capacities. While working with the social services agency Rising Ground (formerly Leake & Watts), I had the fun opportunity for many years to help create Here & Now, the print newsletter that the organization sent out to donors three times per year. I developed the content, wrote the articles, and curated the photos for each edition. The organization's donors really enjoyed reading the detailed articles and appreciated when we started including a photo essay in each edition.
