During the COVID-19 pandemic, I had the interesting and fun assignment of coming up with a budget-friendly way of producing an annual virtual art show for Youth Art For Healing, a nonprofit based in the Washington DC metro area. The organization had traditionally held an in-person art show each spring and wanted to create a way of showcasing the artwork that their student artists were still producing each year during the pandemic. Once we decided on the format, YAFH loved the virtual art shows so much that they wanted to continue producing the videos even after they returned to hosting in-person art shows.

Here are the virtual art show videos that I have produced for the organization. I hope you can make the time to watch several of them because they really turned out quite beautifully!

2022 Virtual Art Shows

During the 2021-22 school year, YAFH student artists created 79 beautiful artworks for permanent installation. The Healthcare Sites video presents their paintings, which are now on display in their new homes in five healthcare locations.

Also during the 2021-22 school year, YAFH student artists created 125 uplifting works of art to give to individual healthcare workers at five hospitals to thank them for their service during the pandemic. These paintings are presented in the Gifts of Gratitude video.

For viewers who wanted a smaller sampling of the students artwork, we created a preview video as well.
