A little bit about me...

At the age of six, I wrote my first book about her favorite flavors of ice cream. Since that time, I planned on becoming some sort of writer. As an adult, I became passionate about having an impact in areas such as child welfare, community leadership, literacy, and the arts, so I was thrilled to realize that I could use my writing superpowers to help nonprofits support and expand their programs. With each grant that I successfully secure, I help change the world - one nutrition program, school library, or foster care mentoring program at a time.

I have been involved with fundraising and nonprofit work since 2003 and began working as a professional Grant Writer in 2011. In the last 13 years, I have secured $32.6 million in government contracts and $1.3 million in private funding for various nonprofits through the formal grant application process, as well as an additional $2.2 million through formal fundraising events and $837,000 through fundraising campaigns.
